Yes, I know, it’s been a while. The past month has been a little bit of a blur. A very GOOD blur, but a blur all the same. I’ve been finishing school, moving into a new place, ended my part time job, and began working a full time job. God, like always, has been good… and is good.
As promised, here are some great resources to help with studying the Bible. If YOU have any resources that have helped you then, please, comment and SHARE!

Bibles
- Kay Arthur’s inductive study bible (I’m a fan of the NASB)
Tools
- Journal (no lines – I find it helpful to squeeze as much as I can on one page. I also don’t limits and I like to draw. Sometimes it helps me when I read a very descriptive passage to draw what I think it may look like.)
- Acid free pens – to write in your Bible and not have to worry about the ink bleeding through the pages. It’s O.K. to write in your Bible!
Materials to check out
- http://precept.org/ – I’ve done a few different studies from precept ministries. All the studies are inductive and they are simply a guide to help you discover God Word on your own.

The online bible reading plans at http://www.oneyearbibleonline.com are helpful. Among many other options, they have a chronological reading plan where the bible is arranged in the order the events actually occurred…cool. Thanks for this series, Jess!
